Caption: I love red efts, and there is something magical about encountering these tiny creatures as they make there way across the forest floor. I also love mushrooms, and 2021 has also been a banner year for fungi, including some very unusual ones like this. It's some type of amanita, but the decaying edges created a very interesting, sun-like appearance!
